WHO WE ARE/Company/Start:

Alta Precisión del Mecanizado, S.L. (APM) is a Company created in 1964 that provides services as a machining company.

At the beginning, we had two production lines: on the one hand, the production of rubber components (vulcanization - Moldeados del Caucho ROMAR, S.A.) basically for the automotive industry and for other sectors as well (Mining, Pharmaceutical, Naval and Food Industries, Hydraulic structures, and Public Works), and on the other hand: the manufacture of our own moulds for the vulcanization line (development and production - Manufacturas Mecánicas ROMAR, S.A.), apart from general equipment and component production for third parties.

Once the first field of activity was defined and developed, in 1989 the Company decided to specialise in precision manufacturing to answer the needs of the aircraft industry. Therefore, we invested in the state-of-the-art CNC systems of those times, as well as in the first CAD/CAM systems, becoming a leader in the area of machining.

In 1995, due to circumstances independent from the market, the Company had to start from scratch. This is when the current APM (Alta Precisión del Mecanizado, S.L.) was born, an enterprise determined to regain its leading position in the field of High Precision Machining that has been successfully heading towards that objective ever since.
